Carnival Procession Workshop

We are holding a workshop to launch the Carnival Procession for 2019 at 17:00 – 19:00 on 2 May at the Venue, Cowley. This is your chance to get involved and: 

  • Learn some amazing dance moves
  • Find your rhythm stick with drum workshops
  • Learn skills from local community artists, maybe even engage them to come to your school or group to run entire carnival workshops.
  • Nibble on some tasty delights carnival delights
  • Get into the carnival mood, and drive home, with a sneaky Mocktail.
  • The Story Museum will be there ready to work on their carnival project.
  • Members of the carnival core team will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
  • It’s a chance to make a real community out of our carnival participants, sharing ideas, the joys of previous years and passing on new knowledge to those of you that join us for the first time.
  • There is no fee for taking part, but if you’d like to donate towards the carnival funds please do so at the event.
